Ben has a phone interview for a job this Friday! Actually, I guess it's for two jobs, but one interview, as they are both with the same company down in Salt Lake. One of them is for a lab technician, and the other is a lab technologist. The technologist gets paid a whole lot more money, so I'm hoping for that one. They'll want him to commit to a year though, which will mean deferring medical school. He's not excited about that, but it might be what will work out best, especially since we won't have any idea whether or not he's accepted until March or April, or maybe he'll even get wait listed and we won't find out until August.
The other exciting thing today was the surprise ultrasound. There really is a baby in there (even if it does look like a blob). And I am 10 weeks along, not 8 (like the nurse seemed to think). And trust me, being 10 weeks instead of 8 is tons better, especially when we get down to June. The doc might move my due date back a few days, but not 2 weeks, we'll see. Ben seemed pretty convinced it is a boy. It looked barely human to me.
