Kennady is potty trained! Ok, so there will probably be another accident sometime, but she's gone three days without any accidents, even through the night- a bonus as far as I'm concerned, because I wasn't even trying to tackle night-time potty training. We are having her potty party the first Saturday in March, consider yourself invited. She is so excited, it's pretty much all she talks about. Ok, not really, because she talks non stop all day. We are going to have cake and brownies, dance, wear party hats, and have Tangled decorations. And all her friends are going to come.
The other thing worthy of a gold star? We have finally gotten rid of the stupid binky. The binky used to be a miracle worker, but recently it's become more of a pain, plus she's too old to have a binky as she can now read me books. I told her if she would go to bed without her binky Ben would make her cinnamon rolls. Ben was slightly annoyed by this. But it worked! No more binky! Now if we can only figure out a way to get rid of that nasty blanket...
The only exciting thing we did this week? Feed the ducks. Well, Kennady thought it was exciting. This week? We have no fun plans. I'm sure we'll think of something.

we are excited about the party also. Sorry I never emailed you back. But we are planning on coming.
wow congratulations!! and i'll let you know about the potty party soon. :)
woohoo! in my parenting class last semester we talked about a way to get rid of the binky that might help with the blanky. You tie the blanket in an inconvenient place in the house, so that when she wants it, she has to go to it. But she can't move it. After a while of her standing with it, she'll realize it's not worth it and wants to join everyone else. Ideally the location would be away from views of anything of interest like people or the tv. Just a thought! Good luck!
